For me, August has always been about transitions. As a swim coach, I see summer winding down through the lens of early morning practices, team banquets, and those final neighborhood swim meets.

There’s something magical about June in Utah. The snow is finally starting to melt at higher elevations, but the lower trails are calling. I love this time of year—not just because I can finally swap snow boots for hiking shoes, but because everything feels so alive.
