🌿 June Reflections: Garden Beds, Hiking Boots & Long Summer Nights

There’s something magical about June in Utah. The snow is finally starting to melt at higher elevations, but the lower trails are calling. I love this time of year—not just because I can finally swap snow boots for hiking shoes, but because everything feels so alive. The birds are louder, the flowers brighter, and the evenings stretch out just long enough to enjoy a warm drink by the fire pit before bed.

This month is about settling in, whether that means:

  • Planting seeds in the garden and watching them take root 🌱

  • Catching those first glimpses of wildflowers on a trail at lower elevation

  • Or savoring the longer daylight hours with neighbors, friends, and family

For me, June is also when the shift to summer truly begins—not calendar summer, but real-life, feel-it-in-your-bones summer. It’s a season of connection—to nature, to each other, and to the homes we create and nurture.

🏡 If you’re thinking about planting financial seeds this summer (a refinance, a first-time purchase, or even exploring homeownership as a possibility), I’d love to be a guide on your journey. Just like with gardening and hiking, the key is taking it one step—or one root—at a time.

🌄 Here’s to cozy evenings, muddy trails, and homes that support the life you’re growing.
