You Don’t Have to Get It Perfect to Move Forward

What hiking (and mortgages) taught me about letting go of pressure and just taking the next step.

I used to think I had to get everything perfect before I could start.

The perfect fitness routine before signing up for a race.
The perfect gear before going on a hike.
The perfect time to buy a home.

But perfection kept me stuck.

And I know I’m not the only one.

A lot of people I talk to want to buy a home—or refinance—or just do something with their finances—but they’re overwhelmed. Prices are high. Interest rates feel intimidating. Their credit score isn’t “perfect.” Their income is variable. They’re not sure where to start… so they don’t.

I get it.

I’ve stood at the base of a mountain trail, questioning whether I had the strength to reach the summit. I’ve put off opportunities in my own life because I didn’t feel “ready enough.”

But here’s the thing: You don’t have to be ready for everything. You just have to take the next step.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need to feel confident. You just need someone in your corner who understands that the path isn’t always straight or smooth—and will walk it with you anyway.

That’s what I do as a mortgage broker. I show up for you with clarity, patience, and tools. I help you explore what’s possible based on where you’re at—not where you think you should be.

And if now isn’t the right time? That’s okay too. No pressure. I’m still here, cheering you on, helping you get ready on your terms.

Because we rise—step by step—not by waiting for perfect conditions.

Let’s talk when you’re ready. Or sooner. No perfection required.
