đ March Magic: Finding Meaning, Growth, and a Bit of Irish Luck
March always brings a bit of unpredictability. One day you're sipping cocoa while watching snowflakes swirl outside your window, and the next, the sun peeks through, melting away the last bits of winter. It's a season of transitionâmuddy boots, budding trees, and, for many of us, a sense of waking up after the slower rhythm of winter.
Iâve always felt like March carries its own kind of energy. Thereâs a restlessness to it, a ready-for-something-more vibe. And maybe thatâs why this month holds space for both reflection and momentum.
âď¸ A Touch of Ireland
With some of my ancestors hailing from Ireland, I always smile when March rolls around. Iâve been lucky enough to walk the winding streets of Kilkenny, admire the sparkling crystal in Waterford, and breathe in the mossy green beauty of Killarney National Park. Ireland's magic is hard to explainâitâs not just in the castles or the music or the endless shades of green (though those help). Itâs in the feel of the place, the hospitality, the stories, and the grounding energy that somehow stays with you long after you leave.
Hereâs a fun fact for March: Did you know that the odds of finding a real four-leaf clover are about 1 in 5,000-10,000? In the world of mortgages, that's kind of how I see it when someone finds the perfect home or loan scenario. The odds might feel overwhelming, but with the right guide, your chances are better than you think.
đ Bringing That Luck to Mortgages
As Mortgage with Melissa, I like to think of myself as that guide. Iâm not here to throw glitter or promise rainbows. Iâm here to listen, offer insight, and help you take smart, confident steps forwardâwhether youâre refinancing, buying your first home, or simply trying to make sense of your options.
Just like spring, the housing market can feel a little messyârates fluctuate, homes pop on and off the market, and timing rarely feels perfect. But I believe that progress isnât always about bold leaps. Sometimes itâs just about showing up, asking questions, and doing the next small thing.
đ A Season for Growth
If Iâve learned anything from the seasonsâand from lifeâitâs that growth doesnât always look beautiful at first. It looks like muddy trails, messy transitions, and sometimes waiting longer than youâd like for things to bloom. But underneath it all, things are growing. And that includes you.
Whether youâre making small financial improvements, dreaming of a new home, or just trying to get more intentional in your day-to-day life, I hope you give yourself some credit. This month, celebrate every little win.
And maybe, just maybe, raise a glass (of tea, cocoa, or something stronger) to the Irish in all of usâthe part that keeps showing up, believes in possibility, and holds on to the hope that something green and beautiful is just around the bend.
Happy March, friends. Iâm here when youâre ready to explore whatâs next.
